Robin, who chairs the Eminent Domain Practice Group, has nearly 20 years’ law firm experience, including thirteen years practicing in eminent domain and public agency law.  She has represented public and private entities and individuals in a variety of contexts, including appellate matters, trials, administrative hearings, alternative dispute resolution proceedings, private negotiations, and in advisory capacities. In addition to condemnation law, Robin also practices general civil litigation, property tax, real property, insurance coverage, and employment law.

She is best known for her representation in the Richmond Refinery case, which was among the most complex assessment appeals matters in California’s history. Additionally, she has worked on mediations, arbitrations, court and jury trials in Alameda, Solano, Santa Clara, Contra Costa, and Orange Counties.

Notable public projects include the Interstate 80 / Interstate 680 / State Route 12 Interchange and the North Connector in Solano County, Caltrans Truck Scale project in Cordelia, and the State Route 4 Bypass in Brentwood and Oakley.

Pamela is Of Counsel at Wendel Rosen. She counsels the firm’s public agency teams in their work on behalf of counties, municipalities, transportation agencies, regulatory agencies, and other public entities.

As part of the firm’s public agency team, Pamela works with public agencies in matters involving project planning, eminent domain, inverse condemnation, and public agency law and helps resolve legal issues related to funding, design, acquisition, and construction. She assists agencies in overcoming the challenges inherent in public projects, working from early stages, through trial and beyond, to help deliver public projects on time and on budget.

Having counseled and advocated for clients in many types of commercial disputes, ranging from real estate to technology, he is adept at addressing clients’ sophisticated litigation needs.  He represents clients in litigation prevention, mediation, arbitration and trial in state and federal courts. He has a proven track record of success in high-stakes trials, arbitrations, and appeals.

Intellectual Property Litigation

Josh has litigated disputes regarding-trade secret misappropriation, high-tech product defects, indemnification and warranty, trademark and copyright infringement, licensing, cannabis related IP issues, and employment matters regarding non-compete, non-solicitation and non-disclosure agreements.

Business Litigation

Josh has litigated all types of breach of contract disputes, including distribution agreements, purchase and sale agreements, loan agreements, ownership disputes including dissolution actions, employment agreements and has litigated actions regarding unfair competition/business practices, fraud, franchise disputes, as well as cases involving breach of warranty and breach of fiduciary duty.

Real Estate/Land Use Litigation

Josh has represented major residential and commercial developers, as well as contractors and individuals, in disputes regarding purchase and sale, brokers’ commissions, contractor licensing, non-disclosure/fraud/concealment actions and land use issues.

Cannabis

Josh has defended cannabis businesses against unfair competition lawsuits and counseled cannabis businesses regarding ways to minimize their exposure to government and private liabilities.

Eminent Domain

Bringing his years of litigation experience to bear, he supports the firm’s Eminent Domain practice, which helps cities, counties, special districts and other public entities, as well as private clients throughout the state, ensure their interests are actively and thoroughly represented in public acquisitions.
