Firm Welcomes Robert Selna to its Land Use and Real Estate Practice Groups
OAKLAND, Calif., Aug. 7, 2015 – Wendel, Rosen, Black & Dean LLP, a highly-respected East Bay law firm representing businesses throughout the region, welcomes Robert Selna as an attorney in its Land Use and Real Estate Practice Groups. Most recently, Selna ran a solo practice in Oakland. Prior to practicing law, Selna served as a San Francisco Supervisor’s chief of staff and had a lengthy newspaper reporting career.

Selna represents business and development teams in a broad spectrum of land use, real estate and business matters. His experience includes land use approvals, development agreements, environmental reviews and compliance, leases, purchase and sale agreements, and entity formation. Prior to his legal career, Selna worked as a staff writer, covering real estate, land use and planning issues for several newspapers, including the San Francisco Chronicle, Examiner and the San Francisco Daily Journal.
Active in his industry and the East Bay community, Selna serves on the City of Oakland Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission, is a board member of the Oakland Builders Alliance and is a member of the San Francisco Planning and Urban Renewal Association (SPUR), San Francisco Housing Action Coalition and the Alameda County Bar Association.
