Wendel Rosen Relocates Walnut Creek Office to Larger Centrally-Located Space

Apr 06, 2022

Wendel Rosen LLP, one of the largest and most widely-recognized law firms in the East Bay, is pleased to announce the firm has relocated its Walnut Creek Office to a Class A building that provides more space for growth – doubling the size of its previous Walnut Creek location – and boasts modern amenities to serve our firm’s Contra Costa County clients. The new office opened March 1, 2022.

“Preparing for growth in Walnut Creek during the height of the pandemic was a move others may have seen as risky, with many firms needing to scale back during a time of uncertainty,” said Wendel Rosen’s Managing Partner Dan Rapaport. “But the convenience to our Contra Costa clients was so appreciated that it justified a new facility with improved amenities.”

The strategic move comes less than two years after the firm formally established a Walnut Creek presence in October 2020, a choice that was well-received by clients and attorneys. The new office is conveniently situated on the third floor at 1850 Mt. Diablo Street, with easy street parking and walkability to the Walnut Creek BART station, making it highly accessible for clients wishing to meet with attorneys in-person. For those who would prefer virtual meetings, the modernized conference rooms in the new office offer built-in videoconferencing features.

“Both attorneys and staff are very excited about the new Walnut Creek office, so much so that those who have been working remotely during the pandemic are now requesting space in the new office,” said Ginger Wilson, the firm’s Chief Operating Officer. “We’ve decorated the space with the comforts of home: cushy chairs, pillows and interesting artwork, so the office feels warm and welcoming for our attorneys and clients wishing to meet in-person.” She added, “In this remote-working climate we all find ourselves in, it’s easier to entice people back to the office than to force it.”

The address of the new Walnut Creek office is 1850 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Suite 340, Walnut Creek, CA 94596. For more information, including directions and information about public transit and parking, please visit the firm’s Contact page here.

Wendel Rosen Shortens Name; Launches New Website

Sep 23, 2019

Wendel Rosen Black & Dean LLP has formally adopted its long-time “street name,” officially shortening its moniker to Wendel Rosen LLP and marking the evolution with a new logo and website that looks to the firm’s future. In keeping with the times, Wendel Rosen has shed its stuffy suit for something a little more “business casual.”

We’ve earned our reputation one matter, one client, one success at a time. Our clients, colleagues and competitors know us as Wendel Rosen, a firm with deep history in the Bay Area legal industry.

“While we have more than a century of history in the market, we’re not at all ‘old fashioned,’” explained managing partner Daniel Rapaport. “A major reason for this longevity is that we stay in front of emerging trends and issues, remaining nimble, flexible and anticipating changes.”

Wendel Rosen maintains its two offices in Oakland and Modesto, California, and continues to advise clients on transactional and civil litigation matters across regionally dominant industries, including litigation, real estate and construction, environmental and land use, green business, food and beverage, cannabis, human resources and employment, and technology, as well as providing counsel in estate planning, trusts and probate; insurance; taxation; and insolvency, restructuring and creditor rights.
