HR & Payroll Coordinator
Wendel Rosen LLP is a mid-sized law firm with its primary office located in Oakland, right above the 12th Street BART station. We have an immediate need for an experienced Human Resource and Payroll Coordinator to support our busy Human Resources department with a variety of day to day operations.
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to): administration of employee health benefits, recruiting, scheduling interviews, conducting new hire orientation, maintaining personnel files, reconciling carrier invoices, drafting correspondence with vendors, employees, and insurance carriers, and payroll administration.
- 3-4 years of Human Resources experience
- Experience processing payroll
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Minimum of three years of professional office experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency, especially in Excel
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Congenial and able to work with others
Ideal candidates will have:
- A college degree and/or a PHR Certificate
- Law Firm or other professional office experience
- Experience with any of the following: Chrome River, Adobe, Paylocity and Filesite
