Wendel Rosen’s real estate litigators have extensive experience handling the full spectrum of real estate related disputes. We pride ourselves on our client-focused approach and our ability to deliver positive results, cost-effectively. Our attorneys include several of California’s leading practitioners in their fields.
Recognizing that litigation can be a highly inefficient means of resolving business disputes, we encourage our clients to seek creative business resolutions, whether through mediation or less formal channels. But when litigation proves the only viable alternative, our litigators have the experience necessary to guide a case to successful resolution. All of our lawyers have substantial hands-on trial experience. We also have extensive experience arbitrating matters before JAMS, the American Arbitration Association, and other arbitration service providers.
Litigation is expensive, so we work with our clients to minimize its costs. We staff cases leanly, with experienced lawyers who have been there before. By working closely with our electronic discovery and litigation support services team (the “E-Team”) we are able to leverage the benefits of the latest technology, including document management systems, trial graphics and presentation capabilities.
Our practice is divided into eight main subject matter areas:
- Real-estate financing
- Purchase-sale transactions
- Title insurance
- Eminent domain
- “Pure” real estate (easements, boundary disputes, etc.)
- Lease disputes
- Homebuilder/Developer representation
- Representation of real estate professionals
We also recognize that our clients’ complex business problems often require expertise in multiple areas of the law. Accordingly, when appropriate, we draw on the knowledge and expertise of our colleagues in the Real Estate, Land Use, Environmental, Bankruptcy and Construction Litigation Groups.
