With experienced trial and appellate attorneys who specialize in many different areas of law, Wendel Rosen handles a wide variety of civil litigation matters on behalf of our clients, consulting with clients from the start of the transaction or project, through trial and, if necessary, appeal.
When direct negotiations break down, a party breaches the contract, a party infringes upon the rights of another, or a dispute cannot be otherwise resolved, our litigation attorneys help our clients devise a well-thought-out strategy for resolving the conflict. Our attorneys work closely with our clients to ensure that our litigation strategy meshes with their business objectives. We weigh the pros and cons, lay out potential outcomes, and advise our clients based on their business priorities, industry conditions, and risk tolerance.
Arbitration and Mediation
When disputes cannot be resolved with direct communications, many times the dispute resolution process begins with mediation or arbitration. Our attorneys help clients determine if one of these methods is required or otherwise appropriate for their situation, then we effectively represent and advise them through the process. When alternative forms of dispute resolution fail or are undesirable, and taking a matter to trial is the only option, then our experienced trial attorneys have the knowledge, skills, and expertise to obtain the best possible outcome for our clients.
Our clients know they can count on an experienced team of Wendel Rosen attorneys and paraprofessionals to effectively handle their litigation matters through trial and appeal. Our attorneys have handled trial and appellate matters from local jurisdictions to the United States Supreme Court, including all levels of California appellate courts. Many of our attorneys have been retained as consultants and expert witnesses in other cases. Others have been selected to serve as judges pro tem, mediators, or arbitrators.
