Lisa is an attorney with Wendel Rosen's Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Creditor Rights Practice Group. She focuses her practice on insolvency and restructuring issues, representing trustees, debtors, asset‐sellers and purchasers, title companies, landlords, lenders (commercial and private), and other creditors and parties in all aspects of Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 business bankruptcy matters, out-of-court workouts, assignments for the benefit of creditors, and appeals.
Her experience includes Chapter 7 trustee representation; bankruptcy asset sales; commercial real property and equipment leasing issues in the insolvency context; representation of creditors and debtors with requests for post‐petition use of cash collateral; contested plan confirmation issues; secured and unsecured debt restructuring; relief from stay, claim, preference, and fraudulent transfer litigation; appeals; motions to convert; and single asset real estate (SARE) issues. Lisa also has experience representing creditors in Chapter 13 cases, and debtors and creditors as parties to non‐dischargeability litigation.
During law school, Lisa was a Dean’s Merit Scholarship Recipient (2007, 2008), was the recipient of the Outstanding Client Advocacy Award (2008), and graduated in the top 10% of her class. She externed for the Honorable Robert E. Jones of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon and clerked for the Oregon Department of Justice in the antitrust unit.
