Rick represents a large number of medium-sized businesses, including distributors, manufacturers, suppliers, wholesalers, retailers, franchisees, restaurant owners, physicians, architects, and general and specialty contractors. Representing many dealer groups and franchisee organizations, Rick is counsel to the majority of the franchisees of independently owned retail “Big O” Tire Stores located throughout the Western United States. He has developed a forte for putting together private placement offerings for a variety of business ventures. In addition, Rick represents a number of nonprofit organizations, including franchise groups, time-share and condominium associations, and private schools.

Prior to practicing law, Rick was a principal in a kitchen and bath remodeling business in the Bay Area for several years, at which time he met many of the general and specialty contractors, such as plumbers, electricians, cabinet installers, and others, who now use his legal services.
