Jodi focuses her practice on assisting clients with a variety of estate planning considerations, including family wealth preservation and transfer of assets, business succession planning, planning for incapacity and charitable giving, as well as probate and trust administration. She routinely prepares wills, revocable trusts, durable powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives.

  • Drafts customized estate plans for each clients’ individual needs and wishes to preserve family wealth, protecting assets for the benefit of minor children, and ensuring each client’s goals are achieved through a well thought out and designed trust and supporting documents.
  • Drafts wills and trusts, advanced health care directives, durable power of attorney, trust transfer deeds and other documents necessary to preserve client assets.
  • Researches and drafts memorandum on DNI deductions for special needs trusts
  • Drafted appellate briefs for probate matters
  • As a law student clinician for the Golden Gate University School of Law Pro Bono Tax Clinic, represented California taxpayers in their sales and use tax appeals before the California Board of Equalization., including analyzing facts and legal arguments to assist clients in the redetermination of their tax liability.
