Chair of the Wendel Rosen employment practice, Tammy has two decades of experience as a civil litigator and counselor to businesses, as well as experience investigating human resource matters for an international defense contractor. Her practice emphasizes advising employers and defending employment-related claims in federal and state courts and administrative agencies.

Tammy provides advice and training in a range of employment law issues and conducts internal investigations.
Employment Litigation
Tammy has extensive experience representing employers in a range of employment litigation, including defending class action claims for failure to provide breaks or pay proper overtime rates; defending race, gender, and disability discrimination cases; and arguing employment-related cases before the California Court of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Tammy’s employment litigation experience includes: harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour claims, and other employment-related issues.
Employment Investigations
Tammy has conducted hundreds of investigations pertaining to a wide variety of HR subjects, including discrimination, harassment, bullying, retaliation, work-place violence, time-stealing, and improper use of proprietary information. Tammy prides herself on her performing even-handed and thorough investigations in a timely and cost-effective manner. Her investigations have been for small and large organizations in the private, public, and non-profit sectors, and the subjects have ranged from entry-level to C-Suite employees. Additionally, she trains investigators as a part of her practice.
General Business Litigation
In addition to her active labor and employment litigation practice, Tammy has litigated a range of disputes involving general business contracts, construction contract disputes, claims brought by government agencies, and fraud disputes. She has represented both private and public employers in an array of local and national industries.
