Experience
Judith is a partner in the estate planning, trust and probate department where she provides comprehensive personalized estate planning services.
She is the only Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization in the Bay Area who speaks fluent Cantonese. She also speaks conversational Mandarin.
Judith helps clients prepare wills, living trusts, life insurance trusts and durable powers of attorney, thereby protecting loved ones and minimizing tax consequences. Her practice also includes representation of executors, administrators, trustees and beneficiaries in estate and trust administration.
In addition, she handles post-mortem estates, both trusts and probate. She implements the estate plan after a person passes away, resolving creditor and tax issues and administering the estate in accordance with the decedent’s wishes.
Judith is active in the Bay Area’s Chinese community where she is in demand as a speaker. She has been featured on Chinese radio and on TVB’s “Financial Magazine” television program. She is also an executive board member of the Oakland Chinatown Chamber of Commerce.
