  Neighborhood Law Corps Foundation

Wendel Rosen is a proud supporter of The Neighborhood Law Corps (NLC), a unique, innovative community lawyering program. Proactive, neighborhood-based and community-directed, the Neighborhood Law Corps brings resources and remedies into Oakland's toughest neighborhoods to address issues before they become embedded, long-term problems. While the Neighborhood Law Corps represents the City of Oakland, it works in collaboration with residents, neighborhood and merchant groups, and other public agencies to improve the quality of life in Oakland. Please visit the NLC Web site for more information about the organization.

It costs roughly $50,000 to fund one NLC attorney for one year of services, including salary, benefits and support. The Corps currently has three participating attorneys, but with additional funds, could do even more. Visit the official NLC web site to check out news about the group.
