Evelin's practice focuses on defending employers in suits alleging anti-discrimination and wage and hour violations. Her experience also includes representing employers faced with immigration worksite enforcement investigations related to the Form I-9. Evelin has represented companies before various state, federal, and administrative tribunals, including the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the California Labor Commissioner’s Office, the Worker’s Compensation Appeals Board, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Office of Special Counsel for Immigration-Related Unfair Employment Practices.

In addition to her litigation experience, Evelin prepares policies and procedures and advises employers on a wide range of employment law issues, including wage and hour compliance, workplace diversity, and leave entitlements. Prior to practicing in California, she practiced in Texas for a number of years and maintains a license in both states.
