Practice Areas
Experience
Patty practices in the area of real estate transactional
law emphasizing real estate purchase and sale of vacant
land, office buildings, hotels, and residential condominium
projects; commercial and office leasing; property management
and related fields. Patty has represented companies
in the high technology, professional services, manufacturing
and retail industries in a broad range of real estate
and corporate transactions.
Patricia is currently the President of the Korean-American
Bar Association of Northern California (KABA). Through
her involvement with KABA, Patricia planned, organized
and executed events to promote professional development
and to launch community outreach and business outreach
projects.
Prior to attending law school, Patricia served as a
foreign affairs writer for the Office of the Vice Speaker
of the Korean National Assembly in Seoul, Korea. She
drafted policy letters to foreign parliaments and heads
of state for the Vice Speaker and composed policy opinions
on U.S.-Korea relations. In addition, she served as
a specialist to the Inter-Parliamentary Affairs Bureau
of the Korean National Assembly, where she composed
speeches in English for the Vice Speaker and other Parliamentarians;
drafted resolutions on international commerce, global
development and security issues; and organized and executed
two of the largest international political-economic
conferences hosted by the National Assembly.
